1) Be a listener
Sometimes asking questions are not the only way to solve problems, by being an active listener you get to understand user’s problems on a deep level and only by understanding it fully will you be able to prove the correct solutions.
Customers appreciate when businesses listen and by being an active listener you make your customers feel cared for. While you are in an active conversation with your customer, make sure to take turns talking and once you both agree on the problem, should you start providing solutions.
2) Make it personal
Not everything should be formal, sometimes informal talks can provide a lot of value as well. We all know that business talks should be professional and not involve personal topics but the time has changed. Businesses now all their representatives to involve in personal talks that the customer can relate to better establish trust.
By discussing personal topics with your customers, you make them feel that you care and understand their problems completely and will do your best to take care of all those problems. Establishing trust is another thing you should work on if you are on a business call.
3) Provide a clear line of communication
Make sure your customers are able to get in contact at any point of the time. By providing a clear line of communication you make sure that you are reachable and customers from all over the world can reach your business for customer support or tech support.
